Your first appointment includes a detailed intake process, with ample time for your questions and initial treatment. Book this if it is your first appointment at GuelphAcu. Treatment can include other modalities, such as gua sha or moxibustion. If you are pregnant, please book a prenatal appointment, even if your issue is not pregnancy related.

Acupuncture Initial Appointment

An hour is the standard follow-up session, 45 minutes can be adequate for an ongoing treatment plan. 
Book a longer appointment to treat more than one issue, or to give yourself ample time to relax into your session.
Half hour sessions should only be booked if previously discussed in your treatment plan.

Acupuncture Follow-up

Book this appointment if you are pregnant, even if your issue is not specifically pregnancy related. Acupuncture is a safe, drug-free way to address many discomforts of concerns of pregnancy. A series of treatments in the weeks before due date may also be used to prepare for birth, and encourage an efficient labour. First appointment included a detailed intake plus a treatment.

Prenatal Acupuncture Initial Appointment

45 minutes is adequate for a single issue or labour prep session. 
Book 75 minutes to allow ample time to relax into your session, or treat more than one issue.

A deeply soothing, totally relaxing step away from the world. This signature treatment begins with a full body application of custom blended organic essential oils.  Then, acupuncture to relieve your signs of stress. This session includes a detailed intake process, and your first treatment. Book this if you’ve never had a treatment at GuelphAcu.

AcuRelax Initial Appointment

A 75 or 90 minute session is highly recommended to allow the mind to relax, body let go and nervous system rebalance.

AcuRelax Follow-up

Your first appointment includes a detailed intake process, with ample time for your questions and initial treatment. Cupping appointments can also include acupuncture, moxibustion and tack application, if desired. Book this if it is your first appointment at GuelphAcu.
